# Connect to Telegram

### 🧭 Why Connect Telegram?

By connecting Telegram, you’ll receive:

* 🔔 Real-time raffle updates
* 🥳 Win notifications when your ticket wins
* 💸 Claim reminders before deadlines
* 📉 Raffle status alerts (Cancelled / Fund Raffled / Item Raffled)

> 💡 Telegram notifications are optional but highly recommended for active participants and sellers.

### 🪜 How to Connect

Follow these simple steps:

#### 1️⃣ Open Your Profile Page

Go to your **Profile** section in the Raflux web app.\
Click your wallet address at the top-right and select **Profile**.

#### 2️⃣ Open the Telegram Tab

In the Profile page, click on the **Telegram** tab.

#### 3️⃣ Click **Connect**

Click the **“Connect Telegram”** button.\
This will open a new window or redirect you to **Telegram**.

#### 4️⃣ Redirect to Chat with Raflux Bot

Telegram will automatically open a chat with the **Raflux Notification Bot**.

#### 5️⃣ Send Message to Confirm

In the Telegram chat, type or tap **“/start”** or send any message.\
This message will link your Telegram username with your connected wallet address.

#### 6️⃣ Verify Connection

Return to the **Telegram tab** in your Raflux Profile.\
You should now see your Telegram username appear.

### 🔔 What You’ll Receive

Once connected, you’ll start receiving:

| Event                 | Example Notification                                           |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| ⏱️ Raffle Ended       | “Raffle #24 has ended. Chainlink is picking a winner…”         |
| 🏆 You Won!           | “🎉 Congrats! Your ticket #42 won the Item Raffle. Claim now!” |
| 💰 Fund Raffle Result | “Raffle #33 didn’t reach target. You won the 5,000 USDC pool!” |
| 🚫 Cancelled          | “Raffle #21 was cancelled. Seller has reclaimed their asset.”  |

### ⚙️ Disconnect or Change Account

To unlink your Telegram:

1. Go to **Profile → Telegram Tab**
2. Click **Disconnect**
3. The bot will stop sending messages to your account

You can reconnect any time by repeating the same process.

> 🔐 Disconnecting will not affect your raffles or tickets. It only stops notifications.
